About Your Therapist
After a successful career as a Director's PA, I gave this up to become a mum. A couple of years later I became interested in wellbeing and massage as I fully understood all about stress in the workplace. From 2005-15 I qualified as an ITEC Massage Therapist, Reflexologist, Indian Head Massage Therapist and then Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist.
After 11 years as a Massage Therapist I felt there was more I could do for my clients and for my poor aching hands from doing deep tissue massage. At the time I suffered with shoulder and hip pain and no therapy seemed to ease my symptoms. A client recommended I see her friend, an Amatsu Practitioner who dealt with aches and pains of the body in a gentle, non-invasive way. After two sessions the pain I had lived with for months disappeared and I felt reinvigorated. I had to learn this amazing therapy.
I qualified as an ATI Amatsu Practitioner in 2018. I am blown away by this fabulous therapy, that can realign the body, ease tense muscles and joints, awaken weak muscles and all without the 'no pain no gain' regimen. It is a therapy that works exactly with how a client's body needs to move to free off restrictions.
